An architectural masterpiece
In 2012, Brittany’s Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) unveiled its new building in north-western Rennes to the public. Designed by renowned architect Odile Decq, the Brittany FRAC is an invitation to explore and discover the potential of contemporary art. The 3,800m² building has three exhibition halls, a 108-seat auditorium and various social areas.
The extraordinary opaque red walls are visible as soon as you arrive at the FRAC. This area is available in the daytime or in the evening and is fully equipped for presentations and image projection.
Maximum capacity: 108 seats
The restaurant area
This area, at garden level, is perfect for morning or evening receptions. It offers a stunning view over Beauregard park and the art installation L’Alignement du XXIe siècle (“The 21st century standing stones”), designed by Aurélie Nemours.
Maximum capacity: 110 people
During the day or in the evening, private groups can be given privileged access to the exhibitions at the Brittany FRAC.
